Brahma Kumaris begin a weeklong Rajayoga camp at the central Jail to teach the inmates how to calm and strengthen a sad and troubled mind.
Addressing the inmates, Rajyogini BK Vidya told that mind has immense power which has been wasted by waste thoughts. In order to control the mind, we need to understand and nurture positive thoughts into it. She told that body consciousness breeds various evils and subjugated by such evils we perform evil activities which turns us sad and upset. But being soul conscious and associated with the Supreme we become self-contemplative and acquire divine virtues and proceed from mere mortals to divine beings.
Speaking on the benefits of spiritual knowledge provided by Brahma Kumaris the Jail Superintendent Rajendra Gaekwad told the inmates that if men inculcate the spiritual knowledge of Brahma Kumaris in life, crime rate will come down and people will not be required to brought to jail. The jail superintendent also mentioned that the Rajayoga camp has brought about so much change in the life of the prisoners that their face speaks the glance of positivity and mental peace they have from it.
Appreciating the efforts of Brahma Kumaris and Jail Superintendent Gaekwad, Ajaya Hingole and Bijoy Hingole of Sai Trust mentioned that such programmes will change the life of inmates of central jail and will help reduce criminal tendency in the society.
